How do you get inspired to write?

Jessica N.A. Dodson By getting up every day and deciding to sit my backside in the chair and move forward. Every time I dive into the worlds of my characters, every time I type out their journey, I keep in mind that I'm not just writing their life story, but my own. I want my life story to be fulfilling, to matter, to inspire. And the only way to do that is if I work at it. Every day, the future inspires me to be active in the present, always striving to better myself and my craft.
