What are you currently working on?

Tracey Langford I have started a book that deals with another very dark subject, this time rape. I am drawn to the tough things of life because that is where we find out who we are and who our God really is. This is a difficult subject to research and write about. At times, I have considered shelving the whole thing, but I always come back to it because I believe it needs to be explored and deserves to be explored, even if the discoveries made along the way are unpalatable or scary. The journey itself is the tool, even when it proves to be painful. To quote a favorite old song, "Pain is a tool in the hands of the surgeon, and to share in His love, I must share in His suffering." (from "Scars" by Farrell and Farrell) So, I am continuing down the road; hopefully, when I'm finished, there will be gems of truth worth sharing.
