Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

A.C. Thompson Since my most recent book is Always Enough Air, I just got the idea by sitting down as often as I could find time to write another new poem. Most often, the start for a new piece of poetry would hit me right after I finished my bible study and prayer time in the morning. Sometimes, an outrageous news story I'd hear somewhere would make me think, "I really need to write something about that!"

Once a decent number of poems had accumulated on my computer, I thought I should put them together in a book and send them out into the world to see what happened.
