Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Rose Von Barnsley I get my ideas from stuff around me. I have a very distracted mind and I think I'm probably a bad friend, because I struggle to follow conversations. I'll often see something of think of something when I'm out and about and have a story line run off in my head, making me horrible company to be in.
One time I was out with my husband and he noticed I was being quiet, so he asked me what I was thinking about. Not a good idea, because I was mentally plotting the murder and dismemberment of a character. Luckily, he loves me, disturbing mind and all.
