Doris asked Lea Carter:

Thank you so much. Just as soon as I get my laptop keypad replaced I will be able to access the notes for the book that is crawling around in my head is on that laptop, I have notes for a possible book that has nothing to do with, The second story/book on a laptop and I do believe that in order to keep it safe I need to email to myself. How on earth do you keep track of all your stories and keeping them seperate?

Lea Carter I hope you get the new keypad soon. :) As for keeping stories separate, I tend to get scene ideas more than story ideas. If I can get enough of a scene written down before my mind has jumped to something else, then I can usually remember it (vividly) if I happen to come back to it. Most of my scene ideas just sit and gather dust, though. If I had bona fide story ideas, I suppose I would dedicate a binder or a spiral notebook--or a digital folder--to them.
