Blair Bancroft After THE LADY TAKES A RISK and a third editing of THE BASTARD PRINCE, Book 3 of my SyFy series, Blue Moon Rising, I felt the need to return to my Regency Gothic line. And statistics show that the spookier the title, the more popular the book; i.e., THE MISTS OF MOORHEAD MANOR and THE DEMONS OF FENLEY MARSH consistently outsell BRIDES OF FALCONFELL, THE WELSHMAN'S BRIDE and TANGLED DESTINIES. So I chose the scariest place I could think of - Dartmoor - and a title right out of horror film: THE BLACKTHORNE CURSE. And to add a different touch, I began the book in my old stomping ground of New Haven, Connecticut. So far, I'm having great fun with it.
