How do you deal with writer’s block?

Amy Proebstel I've always felt that writers block is merely a product of being unprepared to write. Once I have thought about something, sometimes for quite a while, I have begun to formulate the thoughts and intents of my characters. This way, when I sit down to write the words just flow because I have prepared my mind to listen to what my characters have to say and what they want to do.
