I was nearly going to say the world of Jane Austen, but I wouldn't want to be stuck indoors embroidering and I'd probably be left on the shelf. Back to the world of my childhood pony books? No, I probably wouldn't like the stuck up privileged children. So it's going down the river with Jerome K Jerome 'Three Men in a Boat' written in 1889; carefree, traffic free, innocent days spent on the River Thames.
