Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Pat Adeff I was going through a divorce and needed an outlet. Being a writer, of course I turned to writing. Although the story is about a woman and her two daughters (same as my scene) the rest is fiction. The story rapidly took on a life of it's own, and I read it as I was writing it. Alas, there's no Doug Saunders in my life, yet...
