Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Amanda Earl my most recent book is "A World of Yes" about a woman who falls asleep during her 35th birthday party and misses an orgy. i was in my early 40s when i wrote the first draft as part of National Novel Writing Month. I took whatever I was going through or thought about and wrote about it. I had a lot of single women friends back then and they also told me a lot of stories about how difficult it was for them to date. the whole question of monogamy came up too.
