I started Wendall's Lullaby just over 10 years ago and, honestly, I can't remember the moment of inspiration! But, I've had a lifelong interest in dolphins, dolphin communication, marine biology and the environment. I had some past involvement as a volunteer in marine mammal rescue, recovery and rehabilitation at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, FL.
For the follow-up to Wendall's Lullaby, I'm re-reading some of the works of Dr. John C. Lily--"inventor" of the sensory depravation tank and somewhat controversial dolphin researcher.
