How do you get inspired to write?

Laurie Wetzel Between work and my time with my husband and kiddos, my writing time is very limited. I usually write late at night when the kids are asleep and my husband is a work. Throughout the day and during my dream the night before, my brain was hard at work creating the next scene for whatever book I'm currently working on so when I can finally get to the laptop, I will write like crazy until I either get it all out, or absolutely cannot stay up any later.
