Goodreads asked Abbey Lee Nash:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Abbey Lee Nash Don't give up! Rejections are a part of the process, and while they might mean that you need to revisit your novel with a more critical eye or work on some aspect of your writing, they shouldn't define your feelings about yourself as a writer. I'm a huge advocate for continuing education, however. If you find that you're getting the same kind of rejections over and over again, pay attention. Sign up for a class or a workshop; join a critique group; stay informed about the current marketplace. But don't give up. I recently saw a meme that I absolutely love: "Your book has a birthday. You just don't know what it is yet."
