Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ron Smorynski Pretty simple, I've grown up with and always loved Lord of the Rings, roleplaying, and the new fun culture that the Harry Potter series created. So I wanted to write a story with what I loved about all those elements, and of course, do away with the parts I found, not as fun or fast paced. And the best part, that drove me on and on, was the chance to read this great story of Alfred to my very young daughter. The best book I've ever read to her every night. Of course, a little biased but hey...
