I wanted this story told. It was first just a spec for a TV show or mini series. I started writing the time line for the script arc of the show when that was done I was so involved that I started writing the story and would change it into a script later, that never happened I kept writing, then I had to trim side character branches and other in-depth world happens to bring the book to the page number it is now.
