How do you deal with writer’s block?

Richard Roux When I have hit a wall while writing I usually deal with the situation in one of several ways. There are times I will go to the beginning of the chapter and read what I have written, and that triggers new ideas. Other times I will look at the storyline map I create to see where I want to go with the plot. And sometimes I just need to back away from writing and take a walk, play some games, watch TV or just do something that lets my brain work out the block.
