I'm only into about the second season. It is very silly, which is sometimes just the ticket. I think my favorite character so far is the big, blond, rather Russian swordsman. Although I'm also rather fond of the appalling Prince Dad.

I noticed several parallels between Hallana and Penric -- Bastard's order, physicians, sorcerers, and picked up an unintentional demon (at least by human standards). I wondered if this was coincidence? Or did Hallana have some interesting themes you wanted to dig into deeper? (Hallana is one of my favorite characters, btw.) ^^ -Kalli

In the Vorkosigan Saga, all the (lead) characters end up in happy, heterosexual, harmonious... satisfying relationships. Even Bel, whom Miles thought of as more man than woman, ends up with a quadi woman. In a world that is otherwise so believable, it makes it all feel less realistic, untrue to imperfect human nature. What prompted you to write them this way? How much did you consider this aspect of the stories?

It took several weeks but I started at the oldest post and made my way pretty much through all (hundreds) of her posts.
