One more question. I have an upcoming book signing at Barnes and Noble. Do you have any advise for a new author trying to get the word out? Being a self-publisher has been a challenge getting into stores.

Angela Beach Silverthorne I'm self-published and I know how hard it is. My e-books are in Barnes and Nobles, etc. but getting hard copies in there is hard. I would try talking to the manager and see what they say. Also get friendly with your librarian. Give her a book pitch and see if she would highlight the book on her front desk for a month. Beside it have a stand-alone frame with the synopsis of the book and where to buy it. Leave your business/book cards there for people to pick up. See if there are some cancer groups that meet and ask if you can come talk with them. ?A cancer center? By the way, I'm from Williamston, NC originally. So glad to see you were from Greenville.
