What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Steve Sanchez Pay close attention to feelings of anger, inspiration, grief, love, and learn how to articulate them. It takes practice and is a very spiritual thing to do. This process keeps me in humility and in a grounded confidence from within and is a never ending source of inspiration. The biggest trap of writing and spiritual things is pride. Then it becomes the wrong motivation. Writing is a service to others. I am a pastor and at heart seek to help myself and others develop an internal relationship with the Lord from within. At the same time, I stay willing to address any and all topics boldly.
