Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Faith Kaiser I was visiting Ft. Morgan and I remembered that when I was a child, there had been a hotel and restaurant there. When I tried to research the establishment, there was little to nothing to find, which I found to be mysterious. Locals said both buildings burned in the 1960's and the fires could be seen from Mobile. Again, when I researched this, I found nothing. So, it seemed to me the entire place was draped in mystery which inspired me to fill in my own blanks!
