How do you get inspired to write?

Kelly Fitzgerald Fowler I am seriously crazy about a few eras in history. Biblical history, 1920's, WWII era and Ancient Rome. My stories circle around history and thoughts of "what if it happened this way?" Alternative endings with hindsight being my advantage inspires me.
