Eliezar Fariola asked Rhodora M. Fitzgerald:

Thanks for the response Ms. Rhodora I am a huge fan of your book 'Chasing Sunsets' and I would like to interview you. Here are my question Ms.Rhodora : Where do you get your ideas? Where do you get your ideas? What advice do you have for writers? How many hours a day do you write? How do you select the names of your characters? That's all my question Ms. Rhodora, I hope you will respond thank you mam

Rhodora M. Fitzgerald Hi Eliezar,
1) It's hard to say where my ideas come from. I'm a daydreamer and I like to spend time with my own thoughts... If you think long enough and deep enough, ideas just come to you.
2) The best advice I can think of is, if you love to write... then you have to find time to do it. Life gets busy, and days, weeks, months... even years can slip by before any serious writing gets done if you don't make the time.
3) Not enough!.. And that's the reason for my answer to question number two. I love to write, but I don't make it a priority in my life... so a long time can go by when I've written absolutely nothing.
4) This is an interesting question. It depends on the story. In my Willow Crossing trilogy, each name needed to have a special meaning. For example: the four main characters each represented one of the four elements, earth, air, water and fire, so I chose names that are relevant to these elements. Other stories I just choose names I like or that just seem to fit.

Thanks again for your interest in Chasing Sunsets.
