I absolutely love your books and your world building! i was wondering what it's like and if you have any tips on creating a fictional world and how you came up with the poison study world in general?

Hello Emma! I'm so glad you've enjoyed my books. World building can be a tricky thing as you don't want to overload your readers with lots of details, history and explanations (unless you're writing epic fantasy like George R.R. Martin - readers of epic fantasy LOVE those details). I do have lots of tips for creating a fictional world - too many for this forum, but message me your email address and I'll send you a handout (the offer is good to anyone interested in writing fantasy!). As for the world of Ixia, I used my experiences attending Catholic school for 12 years - we wore uniforms, we had rules for behavior, etc... I really didn't see the connection until my sister, who also attend the same schools, pointed it out!

Why not approach the big wigs about selling the rights to make a movie. I too would LOVE to see poison study as a movie. I LOVE the study series and when I go t the last one this year I read it soooooo many times. You are an amazing author and the characters and world feel soooooo real. I hope the healer series can get some more .books in the future. Keep my question is will there ever be any more glass books?

I saw the question you answered about Poison Study and YA and I was wondering if you had any plans for writing more adult fantasy in the future? I absolutely adored Poison Study and it still stands as one of my favourite books of all time. I have read and loved most of your books, but I miss the passion and darker tones that were present in Poison Study and that really took it above and beyond for me.
