Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ricki Dagosta Kristen, my heroine in book 2, was a secondary character in my first book. I decided she was interesting enough to bring back as a main, though she had to change her ways to be likable. The male I had originally planned to be her leading man was too unlikable to take on that role, so I invented a new one. Vince may have flaws, (all characters need them) but he's my favorite so far.
