How do you get inspired to write?

Leo . I have a vivid imagination. I look around my everyday life at people, situations and infrastructure and I turn it all into a fantasy world in my mind. I might witness a discussion by two strangers and use the concept of their argument as two characters in my book. I will maybe have an Elf and a Dwarf talking and mirror the mannerisms of people I observe. I may see a ship in a harbour and imagine the sailors climbing the rigging. It is all about the imagination, without it there is no story.
