How do you deal with writer’s block?

Prerna Kohli I love stories, whether I am an audience or whether I am the narrator. And I am impatient about wanting to know how they end. Whenever writer's block stuck in the middle of a novel, I spent hours doing just nothing. I would lie down, obsessing about my characters and ask myself questions about them - what are their motives, what do I want for them, how do I see them shaping their lives! Sometimes it took a day, sometimes weeks. It might not be an ideal way, but it has always worked for me.
