Goodreads asked S.L. Brown:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

S.L. Brown I would say the same thing I tell myself. Write what you believe in. Share your story because you want to share it. Don't worry about the numbers of people who may buy it instead cherish the one's that do. Most of all, believe in your voice. I do not write like my English teacher taught me I write like an average guy who spent 22 years in the military. My writing is not always perfect but it is always 100 percent me. It is easy to live with your words in your voice. It is not easy to live with your voice in someone else's words. Be You!
