Goodreads asked Fiona Jeeves:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Fiona Jeeves It's important to keep writing - even if it's just a little bit each day. That way I can always go back and edit (but you can't edit a blank page). So what I do, is drop my target for the day down to 100 words just to kick-start and keep going. After a few days of struggling to reach 100 usually I can then increase my target to 250, 500 then a 1000 and we're away again!

Remember to reward yourself for reaching those targets though, if your target is 100 words and you make it - well done! Have a break and come back fresh tomorrow.
