How do you get inspired to write?

Tango Ross I got the idea for writing my recent book from a true story i read about a civil servant (who shall remain nameless) who had thrown away her fairytale life for an illicit romance. The story touched me because it reminded me of the power of love and of the frailties of the human condition. It reminded that something wondrous could produce something tragic and i felt like I had to immortalise this situation in prose.
