Goodreads asked C.E. White:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

C.E. White I've found when I get stuck, it's usually because I am not happy with something I have recently written or the direction I am about to take the story. If I sit back, take time to think about it, usually a better idea comes to the surface. But not on accident, I have to spend intentional time puzzling over the story. Usually I do this while working on mindless tasks. The trick is not letting your mind wander, and actually use the time to get something done intellectually.
