How do you get inspired to write?

Brandy Greeley Good question! It can be difficult sometimes, because I work from home, and have two very small guard-dogs who bark at anything, so I typically sit down with a cup of coffee or tea at the kitchen counter, pull up my current story, and read from page 1 to where I stopped. That was my method for After Midnight, and it worked really well, because it allowed me to get back into the flow of the novel, and pick up the characters, the particular scene I was working on, and the tone of voice. Pandora is also a good motivator for me, especially when it's set to a radio station like The Piano Guys or Lindsey Sterling.
