How many times a month do you get asked for advice on buying a telescope? How many times a month does somebody ruefully start a sentence with, "Yeah, I bought a telescope a few years ago ..." and go on to say how they never used it or can't figure it out?

Great question! I get this question a lot, both in email and comments through my youtube channel. I would say at least ten times a month.
The challenge of buying a telescope and not having a good experience with it is very common.
It is the cause of something I call "TCD" Syndrome. "Telescope Collecting Dust".
A few simple things about using a telescope can overcome this and create much more rewarding experiences with a telescope.
