How do you get inspired to write?

Fannie Price My grade school gave upperclassmen the option to write stories to read to the younger kids. I thought, hey that sounds interesting, and wrote my first story about my dog rescuing me and my brother from burglars. I was bitten by the writing bug and never looked back.

Now, saying that, I have notebooks upon notebooks filled with incomplete stories I started throughout high school and college. Most of which I would never show another living soul.
