How do you get inspired to write?

Bex Gooding That's not an easy question to answer as it varies. Sometimes I will be chatting and the person will either look a certain way, or say something which I hear and my creative brain turns into a whole scene based around that one sentence. Or, I could be out walking, or a passenger in a car and a copse of trees, or an old road, or ruins will catch my eye and again, my brain will play a scene incorporating what I have seen or heard. Then one idea leads to another, and another and before I know it, a chapter has unfolded.
