Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Christopher George Quick I was pretty rebellious in my youth, but when my opportunities starting narrowing dramatically, I enlisted in the U.S. Army. That was a pretty radical shift in mentality to endure. I had to transition from hating authority, to accepting it, to blindly following it. Eventually my enlistment ended, but the haunting questions I had about my service never went away. In many ways, Planetfall Origins is my way of dealing with PTSD and the question that tends to haunt soldiers... Why was I there?
