Goodreads asked Lorenzo Petruzziello:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lorenzo Petruzziello My advice to aspiring writers is simply: just write. Don't think about how bad it is; because it may be bad at first. But, that's OK. Because you will go back and fix it later - but wait until you have your story down before you go back. Otherwise, you'll never move forward. And if you're worried your story is bad, don't think like that. You never know who your story will inspire - and you cannot please everyone. So don't let that stop you from writing. And to quote Ernest Hemingway: "The first draft of anything is shit."
