Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jennifer Natoli I got the idea for this story back in high school. At the height of the Twilight craze. I said to myself "You know. I bet I could make an even more unique vampire story than that one." From my perspective, there were a lot of vampire stories of a human meeting an old and regal vampire who had hundreds of years behind them. I wanted to write a story of the struggles that came with first becoming a vampire and how that might affect a person.
