The Purple Lady
As I look back, I've loved writing ever since I learned how. But I began writing poetry in earnest in high school. My high school English teacher, Mrs. Martin, taught with passion and wisdom, and I was shaped by her ability to convey intellectual things with literature. She taught me the power of a story.
