Goodreads asked Marsha Hinds:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Marsha Hinds That's being able to brag about it at parties! No, seriously, it's more like having a child. You labor over it, fret over it, worry about what you've put into it and whether other people will see the beauty of it that you do. Then you send it into the world and wait anxiously to see how it will do.

Wait a minute. None of that sounds good at all! It just sounds like a case for sleepless nights and prematurely gray hair. Forget it; stick with my first answer. ;)
