Goodreads asked Gregory N. Whitis:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Gregory N. Whitis Set aside a particular time every day for several hours straight when you are going to pound out 300-400 words. No distractions- turn that damned phone off. Give yourself a day off during the week too. Read lots of books in your particular genre. Since I write in the third person - omniscient- I tend to read only Omni. Oh, and if you have a full time job and don't have time for all the other stuff that goes on with publishing a book, consider using Page Publishing, Inc in New York City. Get hooked up with Gretchen Wills there and she will make the publishing process as painless as possible.
