Where were your favorite scenic places to visit in China? Mine was Huang Shan.

Zak Dychtwald Huang Shan is gorgeous. My favorite places were the Gobi Desert on the Inner Mongolia/Mongolia border, the planes of Aba prefectrue (I was there as a bilingual event host for the Tibetan Gesar festival), and a few of the local mountains by Chengdu. found that the company I was with shaped the landscapes and memories of the places as much as the scenery, and it sometimes difficult to rate each independent of my experience there.
