I love how this is tied to rock bands. I haven't read a book this quickly in years. As a rock/metal fan, what are some of your favorite bands and which ones did you use as references in this book? I caught a few, Neil the Young, but am sure I missed a few. Thank you for the great time!

Hi Don!
As far as my favourites go, a lot of them were discovered and cemented while writing this book. Led Zeppelin first and foremost, Black Sabbath, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mack, AC/DC, Rush etc.
As far as references, there really are too many to name, but here's a few.
Blackheart (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts)
Courtney and the Sparks (Joni Mitchell Album 'Court and Spark')
Sabbatha (a reference to Black Sabbath)
Syrinx (The name of the order of tyrannical priests in the Rush song 2112)
Lastleaf's moniker 'The Duke of Endland' is an homage to David Bowie's 'Thin White Duke' persona.
Gregor and Dane are named for the Allman brothers, Greg and Duane
There's a line about 'standing on heaven's threshold without a hand to knock' that references Bo Dylan's 'Knocking on Heaven's Door'
The Zeppelin album 'Houses of the Holy' is referenced in the final paragraph of the book
Hope some of these were interesting! There's a soundtrack on my website that might lend some insight into the inspiration for each scene!
Thanks for reading!

Hello again Mr. Eames! I have two questions for you: 1. What can we expect in the third book(characters, bad guys, you name it.) 2. who was the easiest and the most fun character to write in Kings of the Wild and Bloody Rose? (I actually just got Bloody Rose and I am currently reading it)
