How do you get inspired to write?

D.L. Fletcher Well the Creation series I have had in my mind for many years. I have always wanted to write and that is one story that played on repeat in my head. The Dying Butterfly - well that came from a dream actually. I haven't gotten to the part of my dream that sparked this book yet. My husband loves Zombi books, and I like dark romance. I thought if I wrote a book for him he might actually read one. He did and he loved it! I really enjoyed writing it too. It is a romance, but not the traditional. It is Zombi, but not the traditional. I think that is what I enjoyed most about it.

I have an idea for another book. That idea also was from a dream that I had. I am still working out the details so I have only got a short outline and the first chapter. It'll come though...

I guess with all that said I get inspired by dreams that I have. LOL Silly I guess, but that is how it works for me. What can I say? I have interesting dreams!
