Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Susan Golden I'm a big fan of Janet Evanovich and hated waiting for the next installment for a year. I love her quirky characters and the absurd situations. Thought I might take a shot at seeing if I could create some of the same. I love animals and lived a good bit of time in northern Virginia, so I started from there. I had a great deal of fun writing CATNAPPED and liked the characters so much, I couldn't stop at just one story.
