How do you deal with writer’s block?

Susan Golden I was stuck on book three of the Sugar Shack series. One story line was complete, but the second was begun, with no clear path forward. After a while of no inspiration, I just started something different. I actually finished that book before I went back to book three. The lag was over six months. That is probably not a methodology everyone can use. I have no pressure on me to complete anything. I write because it's fun. Being stuck isn't fun, so putting the problem aside works for me. Of course, I'm always open for inspiration to strike.
