Goodreads asked Samantha Rose:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Samantha Rose I take a notepad and write down whatever comes into my mind. It doesn't have to make sense, I just get my thoughts down on paper, I might fill up several pages or sometimes it's just one.

After I have done that, I rip out what what I have done and tear it up into pieces and put it in the bin because if it's written down on paper then it's out of my head and therefore not cluttering up my imagination - I find it very therapeutic actually.

Then I write a sentence or paragraph (relevant to my project) and congratulate myself for at least making a start because 10 minutes of something is better than 10 minutes of nothing.

And at the end of the day, every single book that was ever written, started with a sentence.
