How do you get inspired to write?

Nancy Thorne Much of my inspiration comes from the past. I write about teens because it feels like a vital part of me stayed behind. And I think this is what enables me to recall even the smallest details of the struggles, the romance, the friendships and the experiences of my youth. But, also, every day events and occurrences inspire me, from hearing conversations to observing others as they go about their daily routines.
