How do you get inspired to write?

Barbara Serbinski Sipe The inspiration came from having all of my mother's memories in a box that I found in the attic of her home, when it was time to sell the house. My mother saved all her WWII memorabilia for over 70 years along with hundreds of letters, many photos and military documents. I could not just dump all these precious materials into a dumpster. I know will need to decide what how to deal with them, which most likely will be donated to a Polish museum.
