I only get inspired to write when a story begins to materialize in my head and it just won't go away and leave me in peace. I have a very difficult time just sitting down and writing for the sake of writing. For me writing, like filmmaking, is a means to an end -- a finished story. I'm not in love with either process, like some lucky people.
