Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jan Van der Cruysse There has been a real diamond heist at Brussels Airport, in February 2013. I was the airport's spokesperson at that time and it made me wonder: "what would happen if I came home tonight with 50 million dollars worth of diamonds in the trunk of my car? What can you do with those (you can't sell them). Unconsciously, I was building on a fiction story, that became Bling Bing in 2016. To be clear: the Bling Bling story is purely fictional and has nothing to do with the real diamond robbery.
